Blackberry Bold 9780 |
The Blackberry maker Research in Motion (RIM) officially announced the Blackberry Bold 9780. It is the first smartphone from the Bold series that runs with the new operating system Blackberry 6 OS.
The Blackberry Bold 9780 has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 2x digital zoom, image stabilization, LED flash and video recording. It supports more than 3G networks, Wi-Fi and GPS offers for local services and geotagging.
The internal memory can be expanded with microSD cards up to 32 gigabytes. For browsing and navigating the Blackberry Bold 9780 is supported by an optical trackpad. The built-in WebKit browser offers tabs to simultaneously access multiple web pages.

The new operating system Blackberry 6 also comes with advanced messaging capabilities. For example, access to social networks and RSS feeds has been simplified. In addition, access to the BlackBerry Messenger, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and other instant messaging applications on the Blackberry Bold 9780 is already integrated.
The Blackberry Bold 9780 will be available in November.
